Soccer – Town win delights Mooy

Aaron Mooy felt hard work had finally paid off as Huddersfield Town registered a first victory in the Premier League this season. A Timothy Fosu-Mensah own goal was enough to secure a 1-0 victory at home to Fulham, who dropped to the foot of the table as a result of the reverse in West Yorkshire. And, having helped Town not only win, but score at home in the league for the first time this season, Australia midfielder Mooy was in an upbeat mood. He told the club's official website: "We worked very hard and we deserved all the points. We were solid and, if you keep clean sheets, then you have a good chance of winning the game. "When you're 1-0 up with 10 minutes to go, you have to work as hard as you can and every player did that. We deserved it, we didn't stop working." Town can now be backed at 4/9 with bet365 to be relegated this season, while they are 7/4 to beat the drop.
