Utes host Trojans in Salt Lake City

Coach Andy Enfield takes his USC Trojans to Salt Lake City.

The USC Trojans are the visitors to the Jon M. Huntsman Center on Friday evening as the Utah Utes open up Conference play in the Pac-12.

Possibly over ranked at No. 10 in the nation by the Associated Press, the Utes have non-conference victories over Wichita State, UNLV and BYU while falling to San Diego State and Kansas.

The losses to the Aztecs and Jayhawks were, however, by a combined seven points and as such Utah appears to have received the benefit of the doubt in terms of their current ranking and the mythical “good” defeats.

The Trojans, who carry on Sunday to play the Colorado Buffaloes in Boulder, arrive in town with an 8-4 record and not a single notable victory to their name.

Defeats to Portland State, Akron, Penn State and Army have defined the early season struggles for Andy Enfield’s side as the head coach looks to turn around the USC program.

Down in Austin the Longhorns of Texas tip off Big 12 Conference play when they travel to play Texas Tech at the United Supermarkets Arena in Lubbock.

Point guard Isaiah Taylor has been cleared to play after missing the last 10 games through injury and a full-strength Texas side is one to watch in Conference play despite the presence of Kansas and Iowa State.

Texas areĀ 21.00 to win the NCAAB Championship, with DukeĀ 9.00 and Wisconsin 13.00.

The Cyclones, meanwhile, get in one final non-conference tilt on Saturday when they play the South Carolina Gamecocks at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Don’t forget, you can earn up to 50% more on your NCAAB pre-game parlays with bet365’s fantastic 50% Parlay Bonus.
