We have our first done deal of the day...! Ahmed Musa, who has never really shown what he can do in the Premier League, has returned to former club CSKA Moscow on loan until the end of the season. That comes as no surprise with Musa’s participation at the World Cup in jeopardy given that he hasn’t played a single minute in the league for Leicester this season.

Now here’s an issue that will have been keeping many of you awake at night I’m sure. Just who will Crystal Palace sign as back-up striker to Christian Benteke? It’s been a hotly-debated topic in south London given the Belgian’s poor form in front of goal, with numerous names apparently in contention. The latest is said to be Preston’s Jordan Hugill, who has scored 10 goals this season and has 18 months left on his contract. An £8m offer is rumoured to have been made, although Preston sources are denying that at the moment. Palace also remain keen on Everton’s Oumar Niasse, while Norwegian Alexander Sorloth of FC Midtjylland is yet another new link.
