Tennis – Isner up next for Edmund

Kyle Edmund is high on confidence ahead of a clash with defending champion John Isner in the last-16 of the Miami Open. Edmund progressed to round four with a rock-solid display in a 6-4 6-4 victory over former Wimbledon finalist Milos Raonic, in which the 24-year-old did not face a single break point. Meanwhile, Isner continued his quest for a second successive Miami title with a hard-fought 7-5 7-6 success against Spaniard Albert Ramos-Vinolas. That sets up what is sure to a power-laden showdown between the two men, with Edmund expecting a take a similar approach against Isner to the one he adopted against Raonic - with both players armed with big serves. Edmund, who is 10/11 with bet365 to defeat Isner, told reporters: "Isner is a similar match-up in that you have to try to get his serve back. It's more just how heavy his serve is and how tough it is to read. "I have nothing to lose and have to give my best. I'm feeling good."
