Tennis – Federer hails Krajinovic win

Roger Federer noticed an improvement in his game after a straight-sets win against Filip Krajinovic in the third round of the Miami Open. The 37-year-old 20-time Grand Slam winner, who had to battle back from a set-down to edge out Radu Albot in the previous round, managed to overcome an early drop of serve against Krajinovic and edged the first set. Federer then stepped up another gear in the second and wrapped up a 7-5 6-3 win against the 27-year-old Serbian to move him into round four. Afterwards the Swiss, who is 5/2 to win the Miami Open with bet365, said: "Much more humid so I'm happy I played through this kind of conditions. [And] I felt like I played a little bit better knowing the conditions."
