Tennis – Federer eyes Raonic revenge

Roger Federer has an opportunity to exact revenge for defeat 12 months ago when he takes on Milos Raonic in the Wimbledon quarter-finals. Seven-time champion Federer looked in imperious form as he thrashed Grigor Dimitrov 6-4 6-2 6-4 to book a revenge date with Raonic, who defeated the Swiss in the last four last year, before losing out to Andy Murray in the final. And afterwards he warned that he is feeling much better than he did last year, while acknowledging that the players left in the draw are all top-quality. The Swiss maestro told the official ATP Tour website: "I can look at this quarter-final in a totally relaxed fashion. Physically I'm not fighting anything like last year with my knee. "Then again, the best players are left in the draw. It's going to be a tough one, I'm aware of that. That's why I can't think too far ahead and I think it's going to be a tough finish to this tournament." Federer and Raonic have met 12 times, with the former holding a 9-3 winning record, although the Canadian has won their last two matches and he is 7/2 with bet365 to defeat Federer for a third consecutive time.
