Tennis – Dimitrov refuses to panic

Grigor Dimitrov says he simply has to try to remain positive after making a shock first-round exit at Wimbledon. Sixth seed Dimitrov was beaten in four sets by three-time Grand Slam champion Stan Wawrinka, who is still in the early stages of a return from long-term injury problems. And Dimitrov, who was a semi-finalist at SW19 four years ago, says he now has to steel himself for the task of trying to get back on track for the challenges ahead. He told the official ATP Tour website: "There's no reason to panic or anything. I'm not that type of a person anyway. I'll try to remain positive, because I know that's one of the toughest things. "You have to stay positive, simple as that. It's hard for me to just accept losing, period. For sure I'm not happy to lose first round in Wimbledon." Dimitrov can now be backed at 25/1 with bet365 to win the US Open later this year.
