Glorious Goodwood has shown clear advantages in the draw with resultant jostling but Orion’s Bow should be able to pick a way through in the Stewards’ Cup

For any Stewards’ Cup the discussion must start with the draw which, judging by the evidence of this week’s action, will favour those drawn low to middle, towards the far side. Unfortunately the advantage seemed to be so clear on Friday that most runners will probably head that way today and get in each other’s way but it is to be hoped that Orion’s Bow (3.45) can pick his way through from stall 12.
