Stephan Jaeger makes record low score of 58 at Tour event

• German scores 58 at Ellie Mae Classic to equal Ryo Ishikawa’s record
• 27-year-old Jaeger sets new benchmark for PGA and Tours

Stephan Jaeger shot a 12-under-par 58 – equalling the lowest score in major tour play – in the Tour’s Ellie Mae Classic on Thursday.

The 27-year-old German player finished with a 10-foot birdie putt on the par-five 9th at TPC Stonebrae in Hayward, California.
