Spain ‘forced’ to sack Julen Lopetegui on eve of World Cup 2018 – video

The Spanish FA has sacked manager Julen Lopetegui just two days before the country's World Cup opener against Portugal. Federation president Luis Rubiales said it had no choice after Tuesday's announcement Lopetegui would become Zinedine Zidane's successor at Real Madrid after Russia 2018. He said: 'We have been forced to dispense with the national coach. We wish him the best of luck'
