Soccer – Tough Barca draw for Chelsea

Barcelona await Chelsea in the last-16 draw of the Champions League but Manchester City have been boosted with a two-legged tie against Basel. Chelsea had to settle for second place in Group C behind Roma and it left them facing a draw against a group winner with Barca eventually pulled out to face them on Monday afternoon. Antonio Conte's men will face the Catalan giants at Stamford Bridge in the first leg on the 13th/14th February or 20th/21st February and the second leg will be held at the Camp Nou on the week of the 6th/7th March or 13th/14th March. City, 3/1 with bet365 to win the Champions League, have been handed a great chance to reach the quarter-finals as they will face Swiss champions Basel, while Tottenham will go up against last season's runners up and Italian champions Juventus with the second leg at Wembley. Manchester United have been drawn against Spanish side Sevilla and Liverpool will meet Portuguese outfit Porto. The tie of the round sees reigning champions Real Madrid face big-spending Paris Saint-Germain, while Roma will face Shakhtar Donetsk and German giants Bayern Munich will go up against Turkish side Besiktas.
