Soccer – Thiago missing for Klassiker showdown

Bayern Munich head coach Hansi Flick has revealed Thiago Alcantara will not be available for Tuesday's crucial top-of-the-table clash against Borussia Dortmund at Signal Iduna Park. The Bavarians are 17/20 with bet365 to pick up the win that would move them seven points clear at the top of the Bundesliga table and leave them in pole position to claim an eighth successive title. Bayern will need to be on top of their game on Tuesday as they take on a Dortmund side that has won their last six league outings, in which time they have scored 15 goals in and kept five clean sheets. However, Flick will have to make do without the services of Spain international Thiago after the midfielder, who missed the weekend win over Frankfurt, was ruled out of the clash because of injury. There was better news on the fitness of Jerome Boateng and Serge Gnabry though with both German international sets to be fit to play.
