Soccer – Southgate determined to cut out errors

England manager Gareth Southgate says it’s vital his side cut out errors following their 5-3 victory over Kosovo on Tuesday night. Southgate admitted it was a strange qualifying match at St Mary's and knows his side must cut out errors if they are to be successful in major tournaments going forward, with the Three Lions at 9/2 with bet365 to win Euro 2020. "A bizarre game really," Southgate told ITV after the win at Southampton. "There were obvious poor errors for goals but I'm really pleased with the composure we showed. We used the ball well. "The errors, we have to be better - the players don't need me to tell them that. The outstanding parts of our play were obvious, the errors were obvious."
