Soccer – Settled King seeks further progress

Former Blackburn Rovers striker Josh King has signed a new four-year contract with Bournemouth. The 24-year-old was the Cherries' top scorer with seven goals in all competitions last term following his switch from Ewood Park. Norway international King said: "We proved last season that we're good enough to stay in the league and now we need to move on and try to climb the table even higher and finish above where we were last season." Bournemouth are 11/1 with bet365 to beat Manchester United 1-0 on Sunday, while King is available at 12/1 to be the club's top scorer in 2016/17. Meanwhile, Eddie Howe has confirmed that Junior Stanislas and Tyrone Mings will both sit out the clash against Jose Mourinho's side.
