Soccer – Reds injuries mount for Klopp

Liverpool, who are 8/13 with bet365 to beat West Ham, look set to be without Dutch midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum for Saturday's trip to face the Hammers due to an ankle injury. Manager Jurgen Klopp has mounting injury concerns ahead of the Premier League encounter at the London Stadium this weekend, with Brazil star Philippe Coutinho set to miss out due to an adductor problem. Wijnaldum is set to be another absentee for the trip to the capital, with Klopp confirming the Netherlands international could be set for a spell on the sideline after suffering the knock in the 3-0 win over Maribor in the Champions League. "At half-time I asked immediately and the ankle was already swollen," said Klopp. "It is probably not a good sign." He added: "We saw a kick in the game and did not think it was too serious. Then it was swollen. We're not sure if he twisted it or not. For sure, we have to make a scan."
