Soccer – Pochettino confirms Kane’s absence

Mauricio Pochettino has decided not to risk Harry Kane in Saturday lunchtime's Premier League clash at Old Trafford between Manchester United and Tottenham. The 24-year-old England international, who has scored 13 goals in 12 games for Spurs this season, is struggling with a minor strain to his left hamstring. Pochettino said: "The doctor and medical staff made the decision to not take the risk. There is no sense in taking that risk and making the problem bigger." Kane also sat out the midweek Carabao Cup defeat to West Ham United. A 1-0 victory for the Red Devils on Saturday is priced at 13/2 with bet365, while Spurs are 14/5 to win the match.
