Soccer – Moyes keen for young duo to improve

Sunderland boss David Moyes hopes that Paddy McNair and Donald Love will remain with the Black Cats for a long time after signing the two youngsters from Manchester United for a combined fee of £5.5million. The duo, who are both 21, have penned four-year deals with the club. Northern Ireland international McNair featured in 24 Premier League matches for United, while Love spent last season on loan at Wigan Athletic. Former United manager Moyes said: "I want to add some young players to the squad as well as some senior players and both of them have got really good potential and the opportunity to improve. "Hopefully these two are here for the long term." Sunderland, 7/1 with bet365 to finish in the top half of the Premier League table this season after narrowly avoiding relegation last term, are 12/1 to beat Manchester City this weekend.
