Soccer – Mourinho plots United changes

Jose Mourinho has warned that 'everything has to change' at Manchester United if they are to win the Champions League in the future after they lost their last-16 tie second leg against Sevilla on Tuesday. The United boss set his side up to grind out a goalless draw in the first leg in Spain in the hope they could win the return tie at Old Trafford and progress to the quarter-finals. However, it didn't pan out that way as the Red Devils were made to pay for a lacklustre display with substitute Wissam Ben Yedder's four-minute brace handing Sevilla two away goals and it left the hosts needing to score three times in the final 12 minutes to go through. Romelu Lukaku did pull one back but it was not enough to prevent United crashing out and, while Mourinho defended his side's performance and insisted that he had no regrets about his tactics, the Portuguese suggested that things must change to reach the next level. Mourinho said: "Everything, everything has to change. Everybody spends money, right? Not just us, no? It's a natural process, every team invests." United's only chance of silverware this season is now in the FA Cup and they are priced at 2/1 with bet365 to lift the trophy.
