Soccer – Mourinho: My players are very tired

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho accepts that his players are suffering from fatigue as the campaign enters its final weeks. Luke Shaw and Eric Bailly both sustained injuries during United's 1-1 draw with Swansea City at Old Trafford on Sunday, while Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Marcos Rojo, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba and Tim Fosu-Mensah are all currently sidelined. United have already won the EFL Cup this term, while they are continuing to push for a top-four finish in the Premier League and play the first leg of their Europa League semi-final against Celta Vigo on Thursday. Mourinho said: "It's not that we looked tired against Swansea, we are tired. "We played nine matches in April with a squad of 22 that has now been reduced. The players are very, very, very tired." United, 10/11 with bet365 to win the Europa League outright, can be backed at 9/1 to beat Celta Vigo 2-1 in Spain.
