Soccer – Lacazette’s injury concerns Wenger

Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Alexandre Lacazette has had a knee operation that will keep the French striker sidelined for up to five weeks. Lacazette has only scored two goals for Arsenal since the start of December and Wenger has suggested that the knee problem may have led to the former Lyon star's poor recent form. "He got a surprising swell of the knee after the game against Tottenham and needed surgery, very quick surgery, and he will be out for the next four or five weeks," Wenger confirmed. "Maybe it is an explanation as to why he was not scoring as many goals as he used to." Arsenal are 5/1 with bet365 to win the Europa League this season and 14/1 to finish in the top four of the Premier League.
