Soccer – Koeman confident Sigurdsson move will go through

Everton boss Ronald Koeman is in no hurry to sign Gylfi Sigurdsson but remains confident that a deal to capture the Iceland international will be completed before the end of this month. Swansea City have rejected two bids from the Toffees for the 27-year-old who is not in Paul Clement's squad for their Premier League clash at Southampton on Saturday. Koeman said: "It's still close. That has not changed. I heard some rumours that talks had broken down but still we are in negotiations with Swansea. "We are not in a hurry but finally we hope to do the deal." Everton can be backed at 7/10 with bet365 to beat Stoke City this weekend while Swansea are 11/2 to triumph at Southampton.
