Soccer – Janssen disappointed with his form

Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen has admitted that his form in his first season in the Premier League had been very disappointing. The Dutch striker moved to White Hart Lane in a £17million switch from AZ Alkmaar last summer but made only seven Premier League starts for Mauricio Pochettino's team. He netted just twice, both from the penalty spot, in the Premier League in 2016/17. Janssen said: "It is clear that this was not my best season. But I still learned a lot. "I expected to play more. But this is the way it is. Things can change very fast in football!" Spurs are 8/1 with bet365 to win the Premier League title in the 2017/18 season while Arsenal can be backed at 12/1.
