Soccer – Gunners turn to Emery

Unai Emery is thrilled to have been given the opportunity to manage Arsenal after being named as Arsene Wenger's successor. The 46-year-old Spaniard coached Valencia and Sevilla before spending the last two seasons with Paris Saint-Germain. He left the French outfit earlier this month despite guiding them to the domestic treble this term. However, PSG were knocked out of the Champions League by Real Madrid in the round of 16 having lost to Barcelona at the same stage in 2016/17. Emery said: "I am thrilled to be joining one of the great clubs in the game. I'm very excited to be given the responsibility to start this important new chapter in Arsenal's history." Arsenal can be backed at 2/1 with bet365 to finish in the top four of the Premier League next season and at 4/11 to finish fifth or lower.
