Soccer – Guardiola refuses to criticise Bravo

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola insists he has faith in Claudio Bravo even after the Chilean goalkeeper was sent off during the 4-0 Champions League loss to Barcelona. Guardiola allowed Joe Hart to join Torino on a season-long loan in August after signing Bravo, who was dismissed on Wednesday when he deliberately handled the ball outside his penalty area. The result means Barcelona lead Champions League Group C with nine points, four ahead of City, who are 2/11 with bet365 to qualify for the last-16. Guardiola said of Bravo: "Of course he knows what he did, but he has a lot of experience and he's one of the best goalkeepers in the last ten years, so I don't have any doubts about him." City have failed to win any of their last four games in all competitions but are 11/1 to beat Southampton 3-1 in the Premier League on Sunday.
