Soccer – Guardiola: It doesn’t matter when we win title

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has played down the possibility of his team securing the Premier League title when they play Manchester United next month. David Silva scored twice on Monday as Guardiola's team beat Stoke City 2-0 to maintain their 16-point lead over second-placed United. It was their 26th victory in 30 Premier League games this season and their next top-flight encounter is against Everton on 31st March before they entertain Jose Mourinho's team on 7th April. Manchester City, who are chasing their third Premier League title in seven seasons, are 1/4 with bet365 to beat Everton while Stoke are 4/6 to be relegated following Monday's defeat. Guardiola said: "Now we are two or three games away from being champions but it doesn't matter when we win it."
