Soccer – Frustrated Naismith ponders his options

Steven Naismith has admitted that he could leave Everton in January as he is growing increasingly frustrated with his lack of regular first-team football. The 29-year-old Scotland international has not been involved in a Premier League game for two months, although he scored a superb hat-trick against Chelsea in September. Naismith was linked with a transfer to Norwich City in the summer, and he has now said: "When Norwich were interested in me, it was the manager who said he didn't want it to happen. "But as a player you need to think about all your options. The manager said we'd speak about it again come January time so we'll do that." Naismith moved to Goodison Park from Rangers in the summer of 2012 and has scored 18 goals in 102 Premier League appearances for the club. Everton, 10/3 with bet365 to finish in the top six this season, can be backed at 29/20 to beat Norwich at Carrow Road on Saturday.
