Soccer – Favre reveals Dortmund injury issues

Borussia Dortmund boss Lucien Favre has confirmed that he will be without several key players when his team take on local rivals Schalke in Saturday's Revierderby. Dortmund trail Bayern Munich by four points in the Bundesliga standings with nine matches of the season remaining and BVB can't afford to drop any points on their title rivals. However, Favre will have to contend without midfield pair Axel Witsel and Emre Can with both reportedly suffering from muscular problems which will at least keep them out of the weekend action. The duo join Marco Reus on the sidelines, with Dortmund's captain having been out since February with a similar injury. "They're definitely out," explained Lucien Favre, adding: "We hope that they'll be back on track as quickly as possible." BVB are 1/2 with bet365 to beat Schalke.
