Soccer – Eriksen ready for Real test

Spurs midfielder Christian Eriksen has backed his side to show their progression when they visit Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday evening. The Londoners head to the Santiago Bernabeu having won their opening two games in Group H, as have their hosts, with Eriksen excited by the opportunity to go head-to-head with the current European champions. He told the Evening Standard: "You need quality and belief. I think we have both, so I don't think we should be scared of anything. "Playing against Real will always be special for any footballer with the history they have and the players there, so it will be a good test, to see how far we've really come." The two teams last met in the Champions League in April 2011, when the men from Madrid powered to a 5-0 aggregate victory in a quarter-final tie. Spurs are priced at 4/1 with bet365 to claim a draw on Wednesday evening, with star striker Harry Kane 6/5 to score at any time in the Bernabeu.
