Soccer – Dyche keen to add depth to his squad

Burnley boss Sean Dyche hopes he can get the balance right when he attempts to strengthen his squad this summer. Dyche has signed several players including Robbie Brady, Steven Defour and Jeff Hendrick in the last 12 months but knows that more recruits are needed if the Clarets are going to prosper in the Premier League. After securing promotion from the Championship last term, the Clarets have enjoyed a fine season in the top-flight and are currently 15th in the table, even though they have only managed to win one match away from Turf Moor. Burnley host West Ham in their final match of the campaign on Sunday and are 13/10 with bet365 to beat Slaven Bilic's team and 9/1 to win the encounter 2-1. Dyche said: "We need to add to the squad for in-house competition and quality reasons to keep it moving forward, and it is going to be a big challenge. "It is a very delicate balance, the idea of recruitment in the Premier League."
