Soccer – De Bruyne happy to wait for City deal

Kevin De Bruyne is not worried about new contract talks at Manchester City and insists he is staying "patient". The 26-year-old has been in exceptional form for the Citizens this season with countless assists and two goals in 11 appearances to help City sit at the top of the Premier League table and maintain a 100% record from three Champions League Group F matches. De Bruyne's agent Patrick De Koster has recently suggested that his current reported wages of £115,000 per week, on a contract that runs until 2021, should be more than doubled to move him in line with the likes of Paris Saint-Germain duo Neymar and Kylian Mbappe. However, the Belgium international is happy to wait for those discussions to take place. De Bruyne, who is 11/10 with bet365 to score at any time against Burnley at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, said: "Talks are coming. I'm patient anyway, I don't stress. I think I read something in the press but I have time."
