Soccer – Competition key for Tomori

Fikayo Tomori has revealed how the competition for first-team football at Chelsea this season has helped him to improve. Tomori is among a number of academy products to feature for the Blues this season, making 15 Premier League appearances. The 22-year-old has had to vie with Antonio Rudiger, Kurt Zouma and Andreas Christensen for a centre-back spot but he believes that competition is making him, and the squad better players. "Having competition helps the team to improve because everyone wants to play," Tomori told the club's website. "You know if you want to get in the team then you have to do better than the person who's got the shirt at that time so you have to take it from them." England are 5/1 with bet365 to win Euro 2020.
