Soccer – Bradley calls for strong effort

Bob Bradley says he is desperate to turn Swansea City's fortunes around after watching his side slump to a 3-1 defeat at Stoke City. The former USA manager replaced Francesco Guidolin as the Swans' head coach four weeks ago but he has been unable to galvanise the team and Monday's loss extended their winless sequence to nine league matches. Swansea have won only one Premier League match all season - 1-0 at Burnley on the opening day of the campaign - and are 6/4 with bet365 to be relegated this term. Bradley admitted: "We made some critical mistakes that I think are an indication of not having enough confidence. "It's definitely concerning and we understand that. When things are going in the wrong direction it takes a real strong effort from everybody to turn things around." Swansea host Manchester United on Sunday and can be backed at 18/1 to beat Jose Mourinho's side 1-0.
