Senegal refuses to extradite former IAAF president’s son despite wanted notice

Papa Massata Diack, the son of former IAAF president Lamine Diack who is wanted for alleged corruption and money laundering, will not be extradited from Senegal according to the African country’s prime minister.

On 14 January, France issued an international wanted notice via Interpol for him which stated the former marketing consultant for the International Association of Athletics Federations is “wanted by the judicial authorities for prosecution to serve a sentence.”
