Rugby Union – Townsend talks up Scots’ belief

Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend says he does not care what the doubters think as he feels his side can get a win at Twickenham on Saturday. Scotland, who are 8/1 with bet365 to win, secured a memorable 25-13 win over the Red Rose in their last meeting at Murrayfield and Townsend, despite the injuries in his squad, feels his team are capable of going down to Twickenham and getting a result. "If no-one thinks we're going to win then that's fine," he said. "We believe we can win and that's what we're working to do. Scotland teams tend to be underdogs on a number of occasions and it usually brings the best out in them. "We're very motivated and full of energy. There were a lot of positive aspects against Wales, a quality team. We know we have to improve again to win at Twickenham."
