Rugby Union – McCall keen to extend Sarries stay

Mark McCall is keen to sign a new contract with Saracens, admitting he does not see himself coaching anywhere else. The Northern Irishman took over in 2011 and has overseen an unprecedented period of success, most notably winning a pair of European Rugby Champions Cups. McCall's side opened their latest European defence with a crushing 57-13 win at Northampton and are 7/4 to win the tournament for the third year in a row. The coach turns 50 next month and says he is keen to take the club forward for as long as he's permitted. "My contract runs out in 2019 and I would like to be here for longer than that," he is quoted as saying by the Evening Standard. "We have a good thing going on here and sometimes you have to realise when you have a good thing going."
