Rugby League – Watson demands high standards

Salford Red Devils head coach Ian Watson thinks his side are capable of challenging the top teams in Super League. Salford are currently seventh in the table after losing their last game to St Helens. They face Hull KR on Sunday at the Magic Weekend, two weeks after they were dumped out of the Challenge Cup by the same opponents. "This is a big one for us. We kind of embarrassed ourselves against Hull KR in the Cup," said Watson. "I believe our team's good enough to compete with the top teams. It's when we fall off our standards that we get ourselves in trouble." Salford are 2/5 with bet365 to beat Hull KR, who are 2/1 to triumph.
