Rugby League – Powell prepared to be patient

Daryl Powell believes it will take time for his Castleford Tigers side to hit top form this season. Castleford lost last year's Grand Final to Leeds but have started this season poorly, losing heavily to St Helens before securing a narrow victory against Widnes. Powell remains relaxed though and thinks the Tigers, 5/1 with bet365 to win the Super League XXIII Grand Final, will improve in the months ahead. "I think everybody expects us to be on this journey of winning every week and this is a different journey, a different season. We're going to have to find something else and against Widnes we did that," said Powell, who led the Tigers to the League Leaders' Shield in 2017. Castleford return to action on Saturday 24th February when they face Hull FC, 5/1 to win the Grand Final.
