Rugby League – O’Loughlin holds title hope

Wigan Warriors skipper Sean O'Loughlin sees no reason why the team can't compete for a place in the Super League Grand Final this season. With two games remaining ahead of the split for the Super 8s, Wigan currently sit four points adrift of the teams in the top four but O'Loughlin feels it can still be a successful season for the Warriors, who are 4/1 with bet365 to win the Grand Final. He said: "We know we've not been at our best but the last two have gone our way and we feel there's plenty left in the tank. If we can pick up some good form I can't see why we can't kick on with the competition. "We went through a similar period last year, when we couldn't buy a win, but we put some results together and ended up getting our hands on the trophy at Old Trafford."
