Rugby League – Holbrook reveals Fages return target

St Helens' head coach Justin Holbrook is hoping that scrum-half Theo Fages will be fit to return from a hip injury in time for Easter later this month. It was feared that the 24-year-old would be facing a lengthy lay-off after he suffered a torn muscle during Friday's 36-24 Super League win against Hull KR. However, the Saints have revealed that, because the muscle should heal without the need for surgery, Fages could be back in action a lot sooner. The upcoming games against Catalans Dragons and Warrington Wolves will come too soon, but he could feature in the Good Friday clash against rivals Wigan Warriors at the DW Stadium on 19th April. "He has torn the oblique muscle off the bone area and will miss a couple of weeks. Hopefully he will be back for Easter - he just needs recovery time, not surgery," said Holbrook, whose side have won all eight games so far this season and are 13/8 with bet365 to win the Grand Final.
