Rugby League – Clark hails pack effort ahead of Hull trip

Warrington Wolves hooker Daryl Clark hailed the impact made by the team's forward pack in the recent win over Catalans Dragons, as the team prepares for their latest test against a desperate Hull KR side. The Wolves, who are 13/8 with bet365 to win the Grand Final this season, were comfortable winners against the Dragons in front of the TV cameras on Saturday afternoon, and Clark believes that their ability to match their French opponents in the middle of the park helped make the difference. "It always is a tough contest against Catalans. They're a big physical side and we've played them a few times already. But our forwards are running well at the minute and keeping people on the floor and winning play the balls," said Clark. "They've got over the top of us and have been big and physical in the middle during past meetings, so I thought our pack matched up and got over them. They are a big side and we have a few bumps and bruises, but we dug in for a full 80 minute performance."
