Rotherham sack manager Stubbs after five months

Championship strugglers Rotherham United have sacked manager Alan Stubbs after less than five months in charge.

The Millers are bottom of the table with only one win and six points from 13 league matches.

Assistant manager John Doolan and first-team coach Andy Holden have also left the club.

Former Everton defender Stubbs, 45, guided Hibernian to the Scottish Cup last season and left to take charge of Rotherham in June.

Rotherham, beaten 4-2 at Birmingham on Tuesday, have lost all seven away league games this season.
