Roosters star Kenny-Dowall charged with drug possession

  • Kenny-Dowall was allegedly found with 0.46 grams of cocaine at Ivy nightclub
  • He is off contract at end of the year and unlikely to remain at Bondi Junction

The NRL future of Shaun Kenny-Dowall is up in the air after the Sydney Roosters star was charged with drug possession. The former New Zealand international and premiership winner was arrested at the Ivy nightclub in Sydney at about 1am on Friday after allegedly being found with 0.46 grams of cocaine by police. The 29-year-old will face Downing Centre Local Court on June 21 and his future at the NRL club is clouded.
