Raptors visit the Nuggets in Denver

The Toronto Raptors play the third game of a six-game road swing on Sunday when they take on the Nuggets at the Pepsi Center in Denver.

Losers in the trip opener to the Chicago Bulls, the Raptors bounced back nicely on Saturday with an impressive victory over the Clippers at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Kyle Lowry led the way with a game-high 25 points, Jonas Valanciunas had a double-double and both Greivis Vasquez and Patrick Patterson contributed off the bench for the Atlantic Division leaders who also have the best record in the Eastern Conference.

Games against the Portland Trail Blazers, Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns follow for Toronto who could make a significant statement should they complete their Western Conference swing with a winning record.

Meanwhile, the Atlanta Hawks sit a game behind the Raptors in the Eastern Conference following a strange home and home series with the Milwaukee Bucks.

Blown out 107-77 at the Philips Arena in Atlanta on Friday, the Hawks rebounded on Saturday for a 90-85 triumph at the BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee.

Atlanta returns home to entertain the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday before making their own trip west to take on the Utah Jazz, Portland Trail Blazers and Los Angeles Clippers.

The Hawks areĀ 15.00 to win the Eastern Conference, with the Raptors 8.50.

Over in the Pacific Division the lead is back up to five games following the Golden State Warriors defeat of the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Clippers set back to the Raptors.

Stephen Curry led six Golden State players in double figures in the 110-97 triumph and the Warriors continue their home stand on Tuesday when the Philadelphia 76ers are the visitors to the Oracle Arena.
