QPR to sign Mauro Zárate on loan from West Ham until end of season

West Ham announce record profits of more than £10m

Sam Allardyce has confirmed that Mauro Zárate is set to move to Queens Park Rangers on loan from West Ham United until the end of season.

Zárate, who was having a medical at QPR on Tuesday, has rarely featured since joining West Ham on a free transfer from Vélez Sarsfield last summer and the Argentinian striker has accused Allardyce of refusing to select him because he was brought to Upton Park by the club’s co-owner, David Sullivan.
