Wolfsburg’s Croatian forward Ivan Perisic says he is committed to helping the club try and qualify for the Champions League next season.

The 25-year-old has been linked with a number of top clubs in Italy in recent weeks, but insists that he is going nowhere, as he wants to help his current club build on a fine first half of the season.

He told “I have offers, but I’m happy at Wolfsburg and I want to stay.

“We want to get into the Champions League next season and I want good results in the Europa League this season. We’ve had good results in Bundesliga this campaign.”

Wolfsburg can be backed atĀ 26.00 to win the Europa League this season, with NapoliĀ 12.00 and Liverpool 13.00.

Meanwhile, runaway Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich are set to be boosted by the returns from injury of defensive duo Holger Badstuber and David Alaba early in the New Year.

Sporting director Matthias Sammer told the club’s official website: “Holger has made a lot of progress and I think he’ll resume team training in early January.

“David might need a few more days, but he’ll be back in the thick of it in the course of the training camp (in Doha in January).”
