Enzo Perez could make his Valencia debut against Real Madrid.

Valencia coach Nuno Santo says new signing Enzo Perez could be involved when Real Madrid visit the Mestalla on Sunday.

Perez completed a switch from Benfica on Friday and Nuno has revealed Perez could play some part against the European champions.

“He’s an extra option and he’s in the list. He’s ready physically and has already played many games, so if we think it’s best for the team, then he will be,” he told reporters ahead of Real’s visit.

“He’s a great player and a very versatile midfielder, with good possession of the ball and good capacity defensively. He’s a very complete player. He’ll bring us a lot of good things within the dynamic of our team and especially in central midfield.”

Real head to Valencia in sensational form having won their last 22 competitive fixtures but Nuno insists his side can end Los Blancos’ winning streak.

The Valencia boss accepts his side will have to be at their best to get a result but he feels they can make the most of home advantage.

He added: “We only intend on beating them in one way: Play football and try to attack them. We know our rival and we’ve prepared ourselves.

“We know they have a lot of good things. They have great players and a great manager. I believe they have the best player in history. Cristiano Ronaldo is the perfect machine. How will we play against them? We’ll think about ourselves, go for goals and we have something very important in our favour, which is the Mestalla.

“We’ll have our fans behind us and we have to make the most of that.”

Valencia are 6.00 to secure victory on Sunday, Real are 1.53 to come out on top and a draw is available at 4.33.
