NFL admits to another missed call in Lions defeat to Cowboys

  • Cowboys should have been called for holding
  • Decision would have helped Lions hold lead

The NFL have admitted to the Detroit Lions that officials missed a holding call on Ndamukong Suh during their playoff defeat to the Dallas Cowboys at the weekend, according to ESPN.

If the call had stood, the Cowboys would have faced a 4th and 16 and would in all probability have punted with Detroit in the lead and only minutes to go in the game. As it was, the Cowboys scored and advanced to a meeting with the Green Bay Packers this weekend.
