Neil Adams has resigned as Norwich City’s manager. Adams came under increasing pressure after the 2-0 defeat to League One Preston North End in the FA Cup on Saturday and apologised to fans afterwards.

Mike Phelan has been put in charge temporarily until a successor is appointed.
