Eoin Morgan will captain England at the World Cup.

Coach Peter Moores says England will “attack” the World Cup and he wants them to produce exciting performances.

The England squad travel to Australia on Tuesday for a tri-series against Australia and India before the World Cup begins next month.

England have won just four of their last 15 ODIs and have never won the World Cup, but Moores is convinced they can take the title in Australia and New Zealand.

“The focus is on the tri-series and World Cup, which we will attack,” Moores said ahead of the trip to Australia.

“We will play in a way that will make the public excited about watching England play.”

When asked if England, who have finished as runners-up three times in the ICC World Cup, could win the tournament, Moores added: “Yes, because we have good enough players – we just have to play better.

“If we start to put those individual performances together within a team performance, we’ll be a very dangerous side. We can beat anybody.”

England are11.00  to win the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup outright, while co-hosts New Zealand can be backed at 8.00 and defending champions India are 6.00.
