Kyle Edmund’s Wimbledon buildup hits rough waters at Eastbourne

Kyle Edmund’s Wimbledon preparations suffered a setback as the British No 1 went down to Kazakhstan’s Mikhail Kukushkin in the quarter-finals of the Nature Valley International.

It began well with Edmund wrapping up the opening set 7-5 but, after losing the second 6-3, his game fell apart and it took only 37 minutes for the world No 90 to clinch the third 6-1.
